Carolyn Ticknor is currently the Chairman of Memjet Home and Office, which she joined in March of 2006. Ms. Ticknor is the retired president of Hewlett-Packard's Imaging and Printing business where she worked from 1977-2001. Under her leadership the InkJet and LaserJet and Imaging products and services grew to be $20.5 billion in annual revenue. Prior roles include, president of Hewlett-Packard's LaserJet Group, where she developed the "distribute, then print" vision that is the foundation of today's digital printing business. She also served as General Manager of the Networking Division that developed and standardized important LAN inventions, including Ethernet over standard telephone wire.
Ms. Ticknor earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and she currently is a member of the Board of Directors for the Clorox Company (CLX-NYSE) and for the Children's Hospital at Stanford.
After 24 years at HP, Bill McGlynn is excited to bring his industry knowledge and executive leadership experience to Memjet Home and Office. Bill joined Memjet Home and Office in February 2006 and is responsible for building the business models, the partnerships and the team needed to change the landscape of the Imaging and Printing market with Memjet's breakthrough printing technology.
Before joining Memjet, Bill was a senior executive in the Imaging and Printing Division of Hewlett-Packard, where he worked for 24 years. Through various executive roles, Bill helped accelerate HP's growth in the printing industry from $150 million to $24 billion annual sales.
Specifically, Bill led HP's entry into commercial printing, which included the acquisition of Indigo - an Israeli-based digital printing technology company. Bill is recognized in the industry for his vision of the digital transformation of commercial printing. Prior to this assignment, Bill was a leader and developer of HP's desktop printing business. He became the worldwide marketing vice president in charge of all printer marketing, and led the geographic expansion of the HP's printer businesses, establishing HP's position as a worldwide leader in printing and imaging. Bill helped accelerate HP's entry into lower-cost printers sold in retail outlets worldwide, and created the LaserJet All-In-One multifunction printer category. Bill also lead various supplies, customer-support, services and company-wide reorganization initiatives.
Bill was a member of the small team that brought the HP LaserJet to market in 1984 and is known to compare the potential impact of the Memjet technology to the impact that laser technology had on the then dot matrix printing market.
Steve brings 20 years of executive experience in Asia to Memjet. He joined Memjet Home and Office in July 2008 after 30 years in the IT business, including 24 years at HP and 3 years at Dell. His international general management roles took him to the UK, Hong Kong, Germany, California, Tokyo and Singapore. At HP, Steve built billion dollar businesses including the Asia Pacific PC business and the printing and imaging business in Japan. While on the leadership team at Dell, Steve helped grow Dell's Asia business from $80 million to $2.5 billion, including a successful entry into the China market. Steve's early career at HP included sales and marketing management roles in the LED, semiconductor and technical workstation businesses.
Entrepreneurial by nature, Steve assists high-tech start-up companies to commercialize and globalize their technology. As an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship, Steve teaches international MBA students and executives at INSEAD's campuses in France, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. His subjects include Entrepreneurship, Private Equity, Venture Capital and computer-based business simulations. He is the co-author of "Japan Market Entry" published by the American Electronics Association and sits on the Board of Directors of private and public technology companies.
Steve holds a B.S (Hons), an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering and a D.I.C. from Imperial College, London. He is an Associate of the City and Guilds Institute of London.
Pete came to Memjet Home and Office after 17 successful years at Xerox Group (including Fuji Xerox) and is responsible for driving global business development and sales. Pete brings unique leadership talents to Memjet in the form of strategic thinking, sales execution, channel marketing and creative opportunity modeling with Memjet OEM brands. Pete is driven to work with Memjet partners to build winning and profitable organizations and partnerships.
Skip Creighton has been with Memjet Home and Office since October of 2007. His role with Memjet Home and Office includes managing customer engineering, customer support and supply chain development with Memjet's brand customers. Skip is also responsible for supplier management.
Skip brings over 30 years of experience in operations and supply chain design and execution in the technology area. Skip also has in depth experience working with suppliers and contract manufacturers from around the globe. Prior to joining Memjet, Skip worked for Hewlett Packard in several LaserJet businesses where he helped to manage HP's supply chain and quality manufacturing processes with Canon. Skip also helped to start HP's disk memory operation in Bristol, UK. Skip has a BS in Economics from University of Delaware and an MBA from the University of Denver.
Ben has been the VP of Finance for Memjet Home and Office since April 2006. At Memjet, he is responsible for MHO's business and financial operations, and he engages extensively with customers to help them understand the economics of the printing industry to develop winning financial plans for their Memjet-based businesses.
Before Memjet, Ben held a series of financial leadership roles in Hewlett-Packard and was a CPA with Coopers & Lybrand. Most recently, Ben was the Finance Director for HP's LaserJet Supplies business, which grew by nearly a billion dollars annually and significantly improved profitability under Ben's financial direction. Prior to that, Ben led all of the Business Development and Finance activities for HP's entry into the Commercial Printing market, including the acquisition of Indigo and the growth of HP's Large Format InkJet business. Ben excelled as the Financial Planning & Analysis manager for HP's LaserJet Group, where he helped to create a new HP financial planning process and the development of a framework for measuring Economic Value Added (EVA) for HP's businesses. Ben has had a broad array of experiences in new business creation roles. He is an effective leader, combining uncompromising integrity with an infectious enthusiasm to drive strong business results.
Kim Beswick has been the VP of Marketing of Memjet Home and Office, since June of 2006. She brings 20 years of technology experience and 15 years of printing and imaging and marketing experience to Memjet. In her role, Kim is responsible for market analysis, product marketing, market research and marketing communications for Memjet Home and Office.
Previously, Kim spent 12 years at Hewlett Packard, working in various marketing and management roles within Hewlett Packard's LaserJet business. Kim was instrumental in bringing HP's first LaserJet MFP to market, led strategy development for the LaserJet organizations and managed numerous product marketing, solutions and category management teams for Hewlett Packard.
Kim also spent 6 years as an IT consultant at Price Waterhouse. She has an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business and a BA from Colorado College.
